Having already secured Step 5 football for next season the 1st team travelled to White Ensign for the last game in the 2024-25 season looking to continue their recent good form.
White Ensign started the stronger and went infront in the 5th minute but a determined Sawbo responded to get themselves level after 20 minutes through Austen Garrod and it finished 1-1 at half time.
Sawbo were in the ascendancy in the 2nd half but had to wait until the 92nd minute for Morgan Arnold to get the winner from a long throw that White Ensign failed to deal with.
The win ends an unbelievable run of results that sees us finish the season 17th on 36 points, but promisingly sitting 4th in the Form Guide.
