Certainly not as one sided as the score suggests. In fact, Sawbridgeworth were second best for the first twenty minutes during which time they fell behind.

Most play was in the visitors half of the field. D'Sean Theobalds, the home sides winger was especially dangerous, finding space to cross from the left on more than on occasion. The Londoners took the lead in the 13th minute when Keith Oppong drove home a 25 yard free kick through the wall. For the next 5 minutes or so Tom Selkirk was the busier of the two keepers but the visitors gradually got into the game and put the home side under pressure, this paid off in the 33rd minute when Alex Akamby who brought down Mitchell Das in the APSA area. The Sawbridgeworth man took the kick himself and levelled the score. Sawbridgeworth continued the pressure and took the lead when Danny Hammett's free kick from near the half way line was headed home by Sam Zanone three minutes before half time.

HT 1-2

Play was pretty even for long periods after the break, both goalkeepers were brought into action regularly. Sawbridgeworth increased their lead in the 75 minutes when Mitchell Das shot home from 8 yards after a goal mouth melee. In the dying seconds substitue Alex Walker beat goalkeeper Grant Baker in a race to a loose ball and shot home to complete the scoring.
